Yesterday was a beautiful day outside. I took the whole night going out and about and just taking pictures and playing with my camera. I used different settings that i didnt even know canon had on the camera and played a lot with my shutter speed and iso. This was taken last night when I was at the very top of the Galleria taking pictures.
Earlier on that day I took a walk to just think about life and found some beautiful things that made me feel better. The moon and the sky was perfect to set the mood for a happy heart.
i love how the moon looks in these photos...
I took these around 12 o'clock at night. There is a baby owl in this tree and it looks like its on fire. I like how it still give the feel of it being light out. There was no retouching in this photo at all :)
can you see the owl?
I took some flash lights and ran down the sidewalk
This is something you cant get anywhere else unless you live in a big city like dallas. Beautiful places everywhere.

Slipknot, Disturbed, Dragon Force, Walls of Jericho
So... I have heard OF "Slipknot" and knew they did hardcore music. Right? Ok well, my VERY FIRST time to see them ever was when I was shooting. I was inside the barricade area getting ready for Slipknot to come out. The crowd was going insane and screaming for them, while throwing things.... big things... full of beer. Anywho, the curtains were drawn and you could start to hear the drum beat. I got myself prepared by getting the camera ready to shoot when they opened the curtain. Little did I know I did not prepare myself enough. They flew the curtains open and I was face to face with a dude wearing a mask staring RIGHT AT ME with real flames bursting from all over the stage. I about died. It was so scary. I shot through 2 or 3 songs and I was done. I went back to find Jen and Chris (from Underoath) and told them I wanted to leave. haha.
Disturbed...
Dragon Force...
Walls Of Jericho...
Those were crazy nights :)

UnderOath
I am blessed. Blessed with a best friend who is amazing and from that, things fall into place. My best friend Jen happens to know Chris from UnderOath and i got the hook-up on the Mayhem tour they did in 2008. I went to two ABQ, NM and Dallas, TX and each time I got to go backstage with not only UnderOath but other bands as well. We just happen to have hung out with UnderOath the most.
This is my bestie :)

Classic Crime
I have never been so happy being in Dallas at the time. Getting to shoot the bands that make me happy make my heart smile. This day was amazing. I had 3 different girls at 3 different times come up and ask me for my autograph. At first I thought they just wanted my autograph because maybe I looked like Kelly Clarkson that day, but no.. They wanted it because I am awesome... no lie... thats what i was told :)
Who would have ever thought it would be hard to write on a t-shirt... OH AND BY THE WAY... Dear Classic Crime: or just Dustin, That shirt DID not shrink... So I am sad to say that I cannot wear it.
Robbie had the coolest pants. What made them cool you ask? They were free.. with buttons all the way up... free things dont suck.

Ivoryline and Mae
I love shooting bands. Especially bands I love! Ivoryline and Mae go way back in my memory pile. Ivoryline reminds me of how amazing life was "back in the day" with old friends and Mae... oh Mae.... Mae reminds me of when I had my mind set I was moving to California. I always wonder how life would be if i had gone. Mae also reminds me of my friend Colton. He had Mae blasting at 1 am on our way back home from shooting Slipknot, Disturbed and Underoath at the Mayhem Tour.
