Slipknot, Disturbed, Dragon Force, Walls of Jericho
So... I have heard OF "Slipknot" and knew they did hardcore music. Right? Ok well, my VERY FIRST time to see them ever was when I was shooting. I was inside the barricade area getting ready for Slipknot to come out. The crowd was going insane and screaming for them, while throwing things.... big things... full of beer. Anywho, the curtains were drawn and you could start to hear the drum beat. I got myself prepared by getting the camera ready to shoot when they opened the curtain. Little did I know I did not prepare myself enough. They flew the curtains open and I was face to face with a dude wearing a mask staring RIGHT AT ME with real flames bursting from all over the stage. I about died. It was so scary. I shot through 2 or 3 songs and I was done. I went back to find Jen and Chris (from Underoath) and told them I wanted to leave. haha.
I love pushing my limits on what i can do with my camera. I go out late at night and just find new things I never knew I could do. I am 23 years old and a college graduate. You would think I would have gone to school for photography, but I didn't. I have to mention my puppy Dakota, im pretty sure shes the best thing ever.
